What a Client Had to Say About Working With Hamilton & Co.



On the latest episode of “Your Carolina With Jack & Megan,” I’m joined by a client who recently sold her home with my team.

For my latest appearance on “Your Carolina With Jack & Megan,” I was happy to be joined by Shelly Corlee, a client of mine, so she could give some insight into her experience working with my team. 

First, though, I shared a quick word about our market. We’ve entered a little bit of a slowdown now that we’re between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but the good news for sellers is that there are still a lot of buyers out there. Many sellers prefer to wait until January to start the home-selling process, but there’s a lot that can be done now so that you can hit the ground running once January does arrive. 

Moving on, Shelly has actually bought one home and sold two with my team, and she said we were wonderful to work with. She and her husband both work full-time, and as busy as her household gets, she said it was nice to work with an agent such as myself who’s experienced and brings a degree of calmness to the transaction. From a business perspective, they needed an expert who could tell them exactly what to do and how to do it.
 


“That’s been one of the greatest things in working with him,” she said. “He makes it very easy.”

As Megan then pointed out, that’s one of the reasons people hire Realtors in the first place: They don’t want to list the home themselves. Not only can we take the pressure off of you, but we can also help you net more money. 


From a business perspective, they needed an expert who could tell them exactly what to do and how to do it.

During Shelly and her husband’s first home sale, they chose to list it at a very high price, which I counseled against. The sale took a lot longer for them, and the home eventually sold for the price I wanted them to list it in the first place. For their next home sale, though, we had two offers within five days of listing and secured a great price.
